Greg Papagrigoriou is a Greek visual artist and graphic designer renowned for his innovative approach to typography, calligraphy, and spatial design. Born in 1986 and based on the island of Syros, Greece, he studied graphic design in Athens and has since developed a distinctive style characterized by spontaneous brushstrokes, dynamic forms, and a deep engagement with negative space.
His artistic practice seamlessly blends traditional calligraphy with contemporary design elements, often incorporating digital graphics and experimenting with various materials such as paper, fabric, and wood. This fusion results in artworks that explore the interplay between form, movement, and the surrounding environment. Influenced by Japanese aesthetics and natural patterns, his pieces evoke a sense of fluidity and organic rhythm.
Papagrigoriou’s work extends beyond the canvas, encompassing large-scale murals, installations, and collaborations with prominent brands and cultural institutions. He is a Co-owner of collaborative project “Blaqk” with artist Christos Tzaferos (aka Simek).
