Designer–Illustrator living in Athens known for his distinct visual language that blends pop aesthetics, contemporary graphic design, and folk-inspired imagery. His work is marked by bold color, stylized forms, and a strong narrative quality, and he has played a key role in shaping the visual identity of cultural institutions in Greece and abroad.

Over the years, his illustrations have become part of the cultural landscape in Greece, most notably through his collaboration with the Megaron the Athens Concert Hall, where he shaped the visual identity of the venue’s performances across four seasons. He also collaborated for three consecutive years with Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York, creating the visual campaign for the iconic Midsummer Night Swing festival.

His visual language always bears a distinct personal imprint — combining references from pop culture, Greek visual traditions, and modern graphic design into works that are not just visually striking but rich in narrative depth.

Nearhos is also the founder of Polkadot Design, a creative studio based in Athens specializing in visual communication for the cultural sector and premium packaging. The studio collaborates with theaters, museums, festivals, and publishers as well as artisan producers, to develop identities, campaigns, and objects with strong narrative and emotional resonance.
