Maria Valla is a Greek-born visual artist. Her artistic research focuses on “interior” space as a field of memory and geometric references, creating works that merge the precision of line with the expressiveness of texture. She graduated from the School of Fine Arts at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and completed postgraduate studies at the UniRoma2, Italy, specializing in art therapy and school psychology. Drawing on her professional and academic background in health, welfare, and special education, she has developed a distinctive interdisciplinary approach that informs her artistic practice.
