Joanna Burtneshaw is drawn to the layers of intricate detail and patt erned textures in nature. Th is inspires her drawings and paintings which then in turn inspire designs that can be applied to surfaces such as walls, furniture, ceramics and fabrics.
Having studied and worked in architecture she now works as an artist and illustrator. Her architectural background is refl ected in the spatial quality of her murals and the technical analysis of her drawings.
Joanna lives and works in Kent and Athens with her family and loves to explore the natural and urban environments of both places – and any other parts of the world she has the opportunity to visit.
