Valia Kapeletzi (Valia Kap) is a textile designer and artist based in Athens, Greece, whose practice explores the transformative potential of textiles. Through deconstruction, weaving, printing, and unravelling, she reworks material beyond its original function into layered surfaces that engage with light, transparency, and space.

She has worked as a textile developer for Iris van Herpen and conducted textile research for artist Marguerite Humeau, before creating her own studio based in Athens. Her work has been presented in exhibitions and collaborations in Greece and abroad.
